Who is chili maven?
My name is Alexa, and I am the founder of Chili Maven.
Chili Maven was born out of my love for salsa macha, a Mexican chili oil that is delicious and addictive but was not available in the UK. I started making it at home and realized there was an opportunity to bring this amazing and flavourful condiment to the UK.
It has taken me over a year to make Chili Maven a reality. I started by testing and sampling different variations of salsa macha with family and friends, until I achieved the perfect recipe. It then took several months to find a manufacturer in Mexico that could make it with the same love and dedication I did at home. I finally found Sergio & Jacqueline in Mexico, who have over 30 years of experience making salsa macha. I am super excited to bring it to the UK.
