Chili Maven Supperclub 25 Jun 2026
🌶️ A Journey Through Mexican History, One Plate at a Time
Chili Maven invites you to an evening unlike any other: an intimate supper club that is as much a cultural education as it is a dinner.
🇲🇽 To mark founder Alexa's newly acquired Diploma in Mexican Gastronomy & Culture (studied in Mexico) Chili Maven is hosting an intimate evening where each course takes you through a distinct era of Mexican culinary history. From the ancient traditions of Pre-Hispanic Mexico to the vibrant regional cuisines of today, this menu tells the story of a country through its food.
You will taste how indigenous ingredients shaped a civilisation, how Spanish colonisation transformed the Mexican table during the Virreinato (1521–1821), how European migration wove new influences into the food of the 19th century, and how the rich diversity of Mexico's regions expresses itself in the dishes we know and love today.
This is not just a supper club. It is a living, edible lesson in Mexican history and culture.
